Because Myrtle Beach is a town of only twenty-five thousand permanent residents (though it seems much higher during the summer because of the tourism industry), the town is quite community oriented. This makes it a pleasant, welcoming place to live, especially if you get involved with community projects there.

Many of the Myrtle Beach condos are situated directly on the ocean, with others being set slightly further back.
